We collect only what you give us voluntarily: name, email address, phone number, and a postal address when an order ships. We use that information to communicate with you and to fulfil what you've asked for — nothing else. We do not run ad pixels or marketing trackers on this site. We do not sell or rent any personal information to any third party under any circumstance. We share only what's strictly necessary with our shipping carrier and payment processor to complete an order; both are bound by their own data-protection commitments. Data is held for as long as the working relationship continues, plus the legal minimum for tax records. You may request access, correction, or deletion at any time by writing to us; we will respond within thirty calendar days.
This site relies on essential cookies for basic functionality: keeping you logged in, remembering cart contents, storing your language and consent preferences. We do not load analytics platforms, advertising tags, or social-media tracking pixels. We do not share browsing data with any third party. Cookies expire either at session end or after a year for the preference store. You can disable cookies in your browser and the site will still load — though features like remember-me, cart persistence, and language selection won't survive across visits.
If you'd like to access, update, port, or erase any personal information we have on file, please contact us — we'll act on it within thirty calendar days, at no charge. You have the right to withdraw consent for any future processing, to restrict how we use existing records, and to ask that your data be moved to another service in a portable format. Records subject to legal retention (orders, invoices) cannot be deleted before the required period elapses, but everything else can. You also have the right to raise a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country. Just email hello@sprucecrestpath.com.
Everything here is made and answered by one person, which means your enquiry is read by exactly one pair of eyes. Commission conversations, ring sizes, and budgets stay in a single notebook and a single mailbox.
A commission needs your ring size or measurements, the occasion if you want to tell me, and a budget. Some of that is personal — engagement work usually is. It stays private, including the fact that the commission exists, until you say otherwise.
Where a stone's origin is documented I pass that documentation to you. Where it is not, I say so rather than implying more than I know. Supplier pricing stays confidential.
I photograph finished pieces for the portfolio. Commissioned work is only ever published with the client's explicit consent, and never before it has been given. Say no and nothing appears; say yes now and change your mind later and it comes down.
Commission records and measurements are kept for five years so that resizing and repair are possible. Enquiries that do not proceed are deleted after a year. Write to hello@sprucecrestpath.com.
Commissions are placed by adults. I hold no records on anyone under fifteen.

If a piece is not what you expected, say so before you wear it — a commission that misses is my problem to fix. Otherwise write to the address above and you will get a reply within two weeks. You may also raise a matter with the Personal Information Protection Commission of Japan.
I rewrite this page when the commission process changes, and put the date at the bottom. It is a one-person studio, so it changes rarely. Last revised 27 July 2026.
